About BrickHouse Catering & Events
Constructed in 1892 as the Kelly Weber Warehouse, the historic building at the corner of West Pine Street in downtown Lake Charles now serves as the home of BrickHouse Catering & Events, a full-service catering and event venue that has been part of the Lake Charles event scene for nearly 20 years. The structure spans approximately 10,000 square feet of exposed brick and beam, updated with modern touches, and can accommodate seated events for up to 500 guests, with the option to section off smaller areas for more intimate gatherings.
The culinary program draws from a menu of over 150 items, developed by a professionally trained chef who builds custom menus for each event. Signature offerings have included cochon du lait — a whole roasted suckling pig — alongside action stations such as beignet bars, shrimp and grits, mashed potato bars, and pasta stations. Weddings and receptions are a particular focus, and the venue includes complimentary tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and centerpieces as part of its event packages. Business meetings are also accommodated, with projector screens, microphone setups, and flexible pricing available.
Rated 4.6 out of 5 across 50 Google reviews, the venue brings together a genuinely historic setting with a culinary team capable of handling everything from corporate luncheons to large-scale wedding receptions along the Southwest Louisiana Gulf Coast.
