Situated on Broad Street in Lake Charles, EquipKit, LLC develops and manufactures EquipGrips™, a specialized joystick grip system engineered to reduce harmful vibration exposure for heavy equipment operators. The product uses a neoprene–spandex composite with Dual Layer Technology to absorb and dissipate vibrational energy at the source, with independent lab and field testing confirming reductions in joystick vibration levels of up to 63%. That testing was conducted at McNeese State University using accelerometers and real-world trials on John Deere, Case, and Volvo excavators — results that place operators within ISO and EU vibration exposure safety limits.

EquipGrips™ are designed to fit standard pilot-style joystick controls and are compatible with excavators, skid steers, backhoes, compact track loaders, aerial lifts, and other joystick-operated machines ranging from compact 3-ton minis to full-size 50-ton equipment.
