Family Physicians Urgent Care.

Located on S Cities Service Highway in Sulphur, just a short drive from the Lake Charles metro area, Family Physicians Urgent Care has been serving patients since 2011 as a locally owned walk-in clinic. The practice is led by Dr. Jay Marque, MD, an Air Force Veteran physician, and staffed by a team that includes Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants Certified, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Radiologic Technologists. X-ray services with a radiologist on staff are available seven days a week, and onsite labs are also offered at the clinic.

Services extend well beyond typical urgent care, covering school and sports physicals, DOT physicals, hormone therapy, weight loss programs, employer services, and Workers' Compensation cases. The clinic welcomes babies as young as three months old, along with children, adults, veterans, military families, and seniors. Tricare and VA medical system coverage are accepted for qualifying veterans, and self-pay patients are offered an all-inclusive $175 office visit. Most major insurance plans are accepted as well.
